Here's a recent update from Byron & Danielle:

Greeting Prayer Warriors!

We trust that you have all been able to start enjoying this spring season that we have been waiting for.

We are incredibly grateful as well that we have been able to start meeting again together outdoors with our fellowship after spending much of the last year shut down for anything in person and youth and young adults has been up and running for a couple of months again as well. Amazing what an encouragement it is to be able to be together in person and how much you take that for granted!

In a ministry context where things always seem to move at an incredibly slow pace, we have have a number of really encouraging encounters with those who we disciple lately and that has really helped give a boost to our spirits and level of determination. While not all are sharable, a few highlights include Chey getting to move out of women's shelter with her little guy and expecting her second in August into her own home for the first time in her life!

We also got to see Tyrel and Kait get married recently. That was really neat to see them make that commitment to each other and be a part of that journey,

Sweetwater has also given birth to her second baby and everyone is healthy and doing well. A young man that has really showed some real growth in his spiritual walk that had moved away is back in Kamloops and we are really excited to be able to do life that much more with him again.

Our thanks to those of you who have been uplifting M and his family. He has been given a two year sentence, and would ask that you continue to keep him in your prayers and that we can find ways to continue to come alongside him in his journey but also especially for his family as they continue struggle through the messiness of all of this and some tough times ahead. ‘’

On a personal note, we are set for a big spring as Teagan graduates, Danielle continues her work with vulnerable families in Splatsin, all of the kids continue to roll at school and thankfully have  been able to attend for the most part right through. We love our spring and summers and find it so much easier to keep our sanity when we can get outside especially when so many of the gym sports are on hold.

We are also ask that you uplift my parents (Walter and Dawn) as they have a challenging health road ahead. Dad is fighting cancer again and heads into surgery on Tuesday and treatment to follow and mom’s heart is going to need some work done as well.

Thanks you all so much for all your faithful prayer and support.

God Bless!

Byron, Danielle and Family.
