2 Tim. 4: 19-22
The Most Amazing Race - 2 Timothy - Part 10

This week, pastor Don wraps up the series on 2 Timothy by recapping what the apostle Paul has been teaching Timothy. Often the last words of a person are the most memorable. Unlike many who live for self, Paul had no regrets. He could say that he had finished the race, and he was now passing on the batton of the Gospel to Timothy. Paul was not bitter or angry about those who may have left him at various points on his journey, rather his concern was that he had lived to glorify Jesus. His focus was not on others who may have let him down, but rather on Jesus, who had never left him. How we too, would do well to have this perspective as disappointment, heartache and loneliness come into our lives from time to time. What about us, can we say that we are satisfied with Jesus, even if everything else in life be stripped away?
