Job 4
Job: A Friend of God - Part 4

* We've recently installed a new sound board at church, so we apologize for some technical difficulties we've been having with the audio part of the video. We know that many of you like to re-listen (or listen if you've missed a sermon) to the video and appreciate your patience as we work to get the audio clearer. Feel free to contact the church office ([email protected]) if you have any questions or concerns, thanks.

This week, pastor Don tackles chapter 4 of the book of Job, where Job's friends seek to come to terms with God's goodness, His justice, and Job's suffering. In their desire to reconcile these attibutes of God's character with Job's suffering, they make some logical, but flawed assumptions.

The practical lessons for us today are many, as we too are confronted with suffering in the church, the community and the world and how we wrestle with this, knowing that God is sovereign and knowing what His Word teaches us about his justice, is vital, not just for ourselves, but for those who are hurting as a result of suffering.
