Ephesians 5:1-14
Ephesians: Built to Last Part 10

This week, pastor Don takes a look at the life of the Christian and how our actions/conduct must match our profession. Paul uses the example of a thief. Not only must the thief stop stealing and start working to earn a living, but if he just stopped there, he'd be no different from anyone else. Many people in society are upright and work to live and feed their families. Yet, there is a third exortation for the believer. 1. He must stop stealing, 2. He must start working, but 3. The reason he is to work is not so he can have something to give those in need. This is radical living, that lives unselfishly. Paul continues this argument throughout this chapter as he looks at other areas of life, particulary as it relates to sexuality. Listen in today to find out how this radical Christian living is counter-cultural to the message we are continually hearing in society today.
